The overview below presents an overview of the planned projects for 2011
PEOPLE & PEACE:
* NT2 Café
Location: Netherlands
The NT2 Café seeks to enhance societal participation of immigrants in the Netherlands by creating an informal social setting where Dutch as a foreign language can be practised, and information about daily life in the Netherlands is exchanged.
The course aims to eventually feed into the integration course as well, by providing opportunity for working on the portfolio.
* Welcome to Holland
Location: Netherlands
This program aims to bring Dutch people and their foreign partners together, and engaging in joint sociocultural events to both share experiences and educate their foreign partners in a fun, informal manner about the Netherlands. Activities includes visiting various (touristic) sites such as musea and parks, as well as seminars, lecture series, and other relevant information sessions.
