Welcome to Araliya Foundation, a not-for-profit philantropic organisation which seeks to fulfill its societal commitments to People, Planet, and Peace through innovative projects and activities. We seek to operate in line with international treaties and agendas such as the Millenium Development Goals,

 

Our main fields of operation are:

 

  • Participation of vulnerable- and minority groups in mainstream society;

 

  • Art & Culture participation and education;

NT2 Café»

From September, Araliya Foundation will start organising NT2 Café meetings for all of you who are currently new to the Netherlands and trying to learn Dutch. Over a cup of tea or coffee, you can practise your Dutch with native speakers on a theme of the month or useful information! Check the NT2 Café page for more information and locations

Living with Water

From January - March 2011, an exhibition titled "Living with Water" about children in Bangladesh was displayed at the Netherlands Watermuseum in Arnhem. A short film, photographs, and drawings were part of this educational endeavour, which will be hosted in Cambridge (UK) in 2012.

 

Araliya supports Meenampal Foundation

Araliya Foundation has given Meenampal Foundation (the Netherlands) a grant of 1500 euro to contribute to its housing programme for poor Tamil families in Sri Lanka.
